We regularly consult with parents and carers so that we can work in partnership to continue to develop the school so that it is the best it can be. In our autumn 1 24/25 Parent Survey, 93% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that their child is happy at school. 80% of these strongly agreed. In addition to this, 93% felt their child makes good progress at St Peter's, with 50% of respondents strongly agreeing with this statement.
We always seek to improve. As part of this, we run Parent Forum sessions across the year. The dates for 24/25 are as follows:
- Wednesday 15th January, 9am (agenda: communication and homework)
- Monday 7th April, 2.30pm (agenda TBC)
- Thursday 5th June, 5pm (agenda TBC)
Reminders are sent out for these closer to the time.
All of our partnership work feeds into our Parent Action Plan, which can be found here: Parent Action Plan
Our action plan is regularly reviewed and 'RAG' rated so that we can be held accountable for doing what we say we will.
As well as our survey and forum meetings, parents can also use Ofsted Parent View. Please note that school may not necessarily be able to access responses to this outside of inspection windows (visibility is based on the number of responses) so urgent feedback should also be shared with school, be it positive or constructive, should you use Parent View.
Ofsted Parent View
To complete the short questionnaire at https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk you simply need an email address and a password to register. Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to choose answers to 12 short questions about the school, such as how well we deal with bullying, the quality of teaching, whether the level of homework given to your child is appropriate, and whether you would recommend the school to other parents.
If you do not have a computer or an email address or if you would like help to use Parent View, please come into school and ask at reception.
